Buying Tickets Will my seats be together?
Yes, tickets purchased from a single listing will be seated next to each other, unless specifically stated during the check-out process.
Tickets marked as “Unreserved Seating” do not have specific seats assigned. Tickets marked as “General Admission” will usually be standing tickets.

Where will my seats be in the venue?
All of the available information on your seat location is shown in your order details as well as in your order confirmation email.

Can I buy tickets that are personalised with someone else’s name on them?
Yes, Citylights Events allows third party sellers, including individuals, to sell tickets on its platform. In some instances the original purchaser’s name may be printed on your tickets. The tickets are valid. Your name does not need to match the name printed on the ticket to gain entry to the event.

When will I receive my tickets?
You’ll get your tickets by the end of the day on your order’s expected arrival date. This is based on when the seller told us they’d have the tickets. We can’t ask them to send tickets earlier than the date in your order details.
It may be close to the event due to ticket delivery delays. This happens when the primary ticket company doesn’t release the tickets to the original buyer for a while.
Some venues, artists, and teams don’t release tickets until a couple days before an event. You may not get them until just before that date.
We keep track of all orders and guarantee delivery by the date in your account. As this date approaches, you don’t need to contact us.

I’m Travelling – where and when will I receive my tickets?
There is no need to worry if you are travelling to the event. Show Gates operates across a network of nearly 60 global websites and can deliver tickets to anywhere in the world.

Can I pick up my tickets instead of having them shipped?
No, if tickets are scheduled for delivery, they cannot be collected in person.

Why is the price printed on the ticket different to what I paid?
Citylights Events is a marketplace where fans buy from and sell tickets to one another. This means sellers set the ticket prices. They may sell them for more or less than face value.

Cancellation Questions
Can I cancel or change my purchase?
It’s not possible to cancel or exchange tickets once a purchase has been made as orders are considered final.
If you cannot use the tickets you purchased and there is still time before the event date, we advise you to re-list them by clicking on the “Sell” link on the event that you have tickets for.
We will market your tickets on our platform to find a new buyer. We do not charge any fees for relisting tickets that you have originally purchased from us.
Occasionally there may be reasons why the tickets can’t be re-listed but it’s usually because the event date is too near to allow secure delivery or upload to the buyer.

My event is cancelled or postponed – What do I do?
If your event has either been cancelled or postponed, as soon as we know more information we will contact you with all the relevant details. Generally:
If an event is cancelled – you do not have to do anything. We will contact you. You will be entitled to a full refund or a 120% voucher.
If the event organiser is offering vouchers or tickets to another event – you do not have to do anything. We will contact you. You will be entitled to a voucher or tickets to another event.
If an event has been postponed or rescheduled – you do not have to do anything. We will contact you regarding the new date as soon as it is announced. All events are considered valid unless there has been an official announcement stating the event has been cancelled.

Payment Questions
How do I use my voucher at checkout?
To redeem your voucher:
– Log in to the account that the voucher was issued to. (Vouchers are account specific)
– Select your tickets, enter, and confirm your payment method*. Don’t worry, you won’t be charged anything at this step
– Continue to the next page to review your order and click on ‘Got a gift voucher?’
– Enter the voucher code and click on ‘Confirm Purchase’

* Why do I need to enter my payment details if my voucher covers the cost of the order?
The voucher value will be deducted from the order total at the end of the checkout process. If your voucher value exceeds the grand total of the order you will not be charged. Any remaining balance can be used on another purchase using the same voucher code.
